What is it?

Anti-crack mortar is a new type of anti-cracking material with a certain toughness. It is directly applied to plywood, calcium silicate board, and mortar wall. After drying, the surface becomes rough, with the effect of no cracking, no yellowing, and no falling off. Make putty have better adhesion. It is easy to operate, non-toxic and environmentally friendly. It can be widely used in various interior and exterior walls of buildings.

How to use it?

1. Base treatment Clean up the debris on the bottom of the board or the plastering surface of concrete, blocks, etc.

For reinforced concrete, the protrusions on the concrete should be removed. And clean up the sponge strips or tapes left at the joints of the template. Sweep away the floating dust on the base. Spray with water in advance to make it moist. At the same time, the floor of the construction site should be cleaned. To facilitate cleaning of the insulation mortar that falls during plastering.

2. Apply interface agent or use roughening.

Apply special interface agent or use roughening on the cleaned base. Apply 3-4mm thick anti-cracking mortar along the joints between reinforced concrete and aerated concrete. Then press in 400-wide alkali-resistant mesh cloth, 200 wide on each side, and smooth the surface with anti-cracking mortar. Then apply interface agent or use roughening.

3. The thickness control points of the cake are set with insulation mortar.

The size is 20*20, and the thickness is the required insulation layer thickness. The distance between the insulation layer thickness control points should be within 1.5m.

4. Layered application of insulation mortar

(1) Mixing: Use manual mixing of insulation mortar: water = 1:1 (specific gravity) to make a paste. The workability can be controlled by the climate temperature and used as soon as it is mixed.
(2) Applying layer insulation mortar. The thickness should not exceed 1.5cm, and it must be compacted, leaving a rough surface.
(3) After the second layer forms an initial setting (with a wire mesh), apply the third layer with a thickness of no more than 2cm. Note: The next layer is usually applied at an interval of 24, and a rough surface must be left between layers.
(4) When applying in layers, press appropriately. To ensure that the layers can form an effective bond. However, do not apply back and forth on the same part. During application, if bulges are found, they should be removed and reapplied in time.

5. Laying alkali-resistant fiberglass mesh.

(1) When finishing the surface of the thermal insulation mortar. Press the alkali-resistant fiberglass mesh directly on the surface of the material with a trowel. Finish at the same time, and it is strictly forbidden to miss any paving.
(2) When laying the alkali-resistant fiberglass mesh, it must be flat and wrinkle-free. Overlap in sequence. The overlap width is 30-50mm. When laying on the exterior, the overlap width is 80-100mm. Press a 100mm wide alkali-resistant fiberglass mesh at the joint between the external corner and the thermal insulation.

6. Inspection and finishing

(1) The surface of the base layer is clean, the joints are flat, there are no smear marks, and the lines and corners are straight and clear.
(2) The thickness of the insulation layer must meet the design requirements, and negative deviations are not allowed in single-point thickness detection.
(3) The insulation layer must be firmly bonded to the base and each structural layer, without delamination, hollowing and cracks.

7. Cleaning

(1) After the wall is painted, the construction site should be cleaned in time. The fallen insulation mortar should be recycled in time. Those that can be reused should be reused.
(2) After the insulation layer is constructed, maintain a good ventilation and dry environment. No watering and curing is required. The subsequent process can be carried out after the insulation layer has been cured for 7 days.

8. Apply anti-cracking mortar according to the construction requirements of anti-cracking mortar.

Construction precautions
1. No admixture is required for on-site construction of anti-cracking mortar. Strictly control the water-to-solid ratio and plastering time.
2. The base layer has strong water absorption or the surface is too dry. The bottom sealant should be applied first or a small amount of water should be sprayed to moisten before construction.
3. During transportation, attention should be paid to moisture, rain and sun exposure.
4. During storage, the anti-cracking mortar should be stored in a dry and ventilated place to avoid moisture.
5. When using the anti-cracking mortar, do not mix too much at one time. It depends on the amount used in the construction. If it clumps before it is used up, it cannot be used anymore.
6. The construction and storage temperature is required to be above 5°C.
7. After each construction, clean the construction tools and mixing equipment in time. So as not to affect the next use.
