(1) Cracking
Due to the change of temperature difference (thermal expansion and contraction), the ground is damaged and cracks appear. Or because the base is very wet, during the mortar solidification process, the ground mortar reacts chemically with part of the water, and the rest of the water evaporates. After the water evaporates, the mortar shrinks in volume and causes the ground to crack.
Treatment method
Therefore, the base should be cleaned in advance. And start watering the ground 2-3 days in advance. Keep the ground moist and free of visible water. In addition, the setting time of the ground mortar should not be too long.
(2) Ground sanding
① The mortar exudes water, causing the fly ash and other admixtures with lower density in the mortar to float up, resulting in sanding.
② The mortar mix ratio is unreasonable, and the admixture dosage is too high, resulting in poor wear resistance of the mortar surface and sanding.
Treatment method
Therefore, when designing the ground mortar mix ratio, it must be designed in combination with the construction environment. It cannot be blindly assumed that the laboratory data meets the standard requirements.
(3) Insufficient mortar strength
The water-cement ratio is too high, resulting in too high a consistency. Reduces the strength and hardness of the floor mortar surface. Affects the wear resistance of the floor.
Treatment method
During mixing, the amount of water used in the floor mortar should be strictly controlled, and the consistency should be controlled between 45-55mm.
